For some odd reason, I work in the field of education, training and shaping future electronics technicians, most of whom find jobs that pay significantly more than I earn. On one hand, I feel warm and fuzzy inside because of that - facilitating the success of others. But on the other other hand, I wonder why I am not working in the field. But then on the gripping hand, I remember that as an computer / electrical engineering technologist, I am in that strange space in-between an electrical engineer and an electronics technician and what I do better than troubleshoot is train others to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Speaking of the warm and fuzzy feeling, I am invested in the concept of open educational resources and my job requires that I create curriculum to that end. I hope to become more involved in "the movement" as I gain more experience.
Enjoy my blog and please, feel free to comment. I know that I will stumble along the way and that what I feel are erudite posts may be laughable, but it is all part of my own path to learning.
